Crazy Times

Sorry gang for dropping the ball on the old blog. Things have been crazy as normal, but yet still not so normal.

First, thanks to everyone for your prayers and kind words for Jeff's Dad and Grandpa. End of Feb. we found out that Jeff's dad has B-cell leukemia. After testing and many prayers we've learned that while he does have this type of leukemia it is a very slow developing form of leukemia. The doctors told us that he is in the earliest stages, and it can be a number of years before anything starts to develop. So while this news is not something we were looking to hear we are thankful for the stage and type that it is. Shortly after learning about dad, we learned that the doctors had found a possible cancer mass in Jeff's Grandpa's esophagus. After much prayer and another scan weeks later, God had amazed us with the news that it was none cancerous. This was truly a blessing and a testament to the power of prayer.

We found out yesterday that our dogs have a clear bill of health after having had heartworm. So they are very happy to be dogs again and run around the yard after being cooped up on kennel rest for over a month.

So what else have we been working on? Well it might be easier to list the items rather than write about each.
