Transition

I'm now on week two of working here at the studio full time... Yeah. It's still taking a bit to get use to. Most of last week felt like Sunday over and over again, not a bad feeling just taking a bit to get used to. Again thanks to all our friends and family for being supportive as we follow our dreams and work to capture memories for our customers.

This blog entry is to play catchup for all the missed entries over the past few weeks. Tyff and I have made a goal to post a new entry every night before the next day. Thank you for the emails from our current blog readers and for the encouragement in blogging more often.

What happened on my last day of work:

Waking up knowing that the alarm clock will be getting a rest for a long time is a nice feeling. My last day of work consisted of passing what info I had in my brain to the former co-workers. This was to help them to fill-in as best they could once I was gone but it is hard to past knowledge and processes you created on your own. My fellow co-workers and I went out to Piztros for lunch. Be sure to visit the Piztros site; this place has a very cool atmosphere. Where they gave me a framed album cover one of our department designers had created. Photos shown below. (BG's creative department is blessed with an amazing talented group of people)

Tyff and I left BG around 4:30ish (photo below of me clocking out for the last time)

Got to love the high tech way of clocking in and out. Probably clonning me as we speak.

After leaving work Tyff had gotten tickets to watch Chis Rice in concert at our local Wranglers baseball game. The concert was great if you never listened to Chris Rice your missing out on a talented Christian artist.

After the concert we met up with the crazy crew over at Fat Cat Productions, where they recorded the alarm clock smashing ceremony. Video will be posted in the coming weeks so be sure to check back. This was an awesome feeling, we had set the clock to go off in a minute. When it start to go off I grabbed my new sledge hammer I got from Tyff and with one swing sliced the clock for ever. Truly a great feeling.

Moving forward.

The time has come for T&J Studios to take the next step to allow for growth in the future of our business. After years of working at his full time job, during the day and working nights till as late as 3 am, Jeff will be working his last day this Friday at BG Products. We thank our patient customes who allows us the time to edit their wedding with care.

We would also like to thank our customers and friends who have encouraged us along the way and God who continually amazes us. This year has been a wonderful experience for us both, and we have enjoyed capturing memories and moments for you, our friends.

Capturing customer's personalities and spending quality time with them is why we do what we do. If you haven't seen the "snap shot" clip Fat Cat Productions produced for us be sure to check it out it is simply amazing the way they captured our spirit.
